During an inspection, Ofsted evaluates the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. Inspectors speak with pupils, staff and leaders, visit lessons and review a range of evidence to gain an understanding of the school's strengths and areas for development.

The Catholic Schools Inspectorate (CSI) is responsible for inspecting Catholic schools on behalf of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. These inspections focus on how effectively a school fulfils its Catholic mission and promotes the religious and spiritual development of its pupils.
During a CSI inspection, inspectors evaluate the school's Catholic life and mission, religious education, and collective worship. They consider how Gospel values are lived out throughout the school community and how the school supports pupils in developing their faith and understanding of Catholic Social Teaching.
